About the
Cincinnati Horn Collective

A welcoming horn ensemble for players of all backgrounds, beginner to professional.

The Cincinnati Horn Collective is a community-based French horn ensemble that brings together players of all skill levels, from those dusting off their horn after years away to seasoned professionals looking for a casual, low-pressure way to make music again.

We rehearse four times a month at the Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum: every 1st and 2nd Tuesday and 3rd and 4th Wednesday from 7:30 - 9:30 PM. Our goal is simple, to share music, grow together, and have fun doing it. No auditions, no pressure, just great music and great people.

This group is for:

  • People learning to play again after time off

  • Amateur horn players wanting to stay connected to music

  • College students or professionals looking for a creative outlet

  • Anyone in the Cincinnati area who enjoys community and music-making

What to expect:

  • Rehearsals on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays

  • A mix of standard horn repertoire and new music

  • Concerts every few months in a casual setting

  • A friendly, collaborative environment

  • No audition required
